The 'Infinity' storyline challenged traditional notions of heroism. Thanos, despite being a villain, possessed immense power and a seemingly logical (albeit twisted) justification for his actions. This forced heroes to confront the possibility that power, even when wielded with good intentions, could be destructive and that the universe wasn't necessarily 'good' or 'bad,' but simply chaotic.
