An E13 or E16 error on your Canon iP2700 indicates that the printer believes one or both ink cartridges are low or empty. Canon printers often use a chip to monitor ink levels. If you've refilled a cartridge, the printer might still report it as empty. To bypass this, you usually need to hold down the 'Stop/Reset' button (the button with a triangle inside a circle) for at least 5-7 seconds. This will disable the ink level detection for that specific cartridge, allowing you to continue printing, though the printer will no longer accurately monitor its ink level. Be mindful that printing with truly empty cartridges can damage the print head.
