The CGC grading scale ranges from 0.5 (Poor) to 10.0 (Gem Mint). CGC considers numerous factors, including: Cover (front, back, corners, spine), Pages (color, toning, tears, creases), Spine (hinges, color, wear), and Overall Condition. Each factor is assessed individually, and the overall grade is determined by a combination of these assessments. Minor flaws might only slightly lower the grade, while significant defects can drastically reduce its value.
