My company uses a self-signed certificate. How can I trust it in Internet Explorer?

Self-signed certificates are not automatically trusted. You need to import the certificate into the 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' store as described above. Be extremely cautious when trusting self-signed certificates, as they offer less security than certificates issued by a recognized CA.
