It is photosynthesis, because the green plants remove the carbon dioxide from the air by photosynthesis. I learned this my freshman year.
The right answer is photosynthesis.
Plants require CO2 for growth. As well as photosynthesis in order to convert CO2 into glucose, which plants then use to feed themselves and reproduce.
In the other processes like combustion and respiration, the carbon is released in the atmosphere.
The decompostition transforms organic carbon into inorganic carbon.
