A CNAME (Canonical Name) record creates an alias for another domain name. In the context of Cloudflare Turnstile, it's used to point your domain to the Cloudflare-managed IP address, effectively bypassing the need to manually configure DNS records for the specific URL. If the domain name in Cloudflare's DNS doesn't match the actual domain, a CNAME will be used to redirect traffic.
